Backup Plans when Terminal is Not Functioning

Notes:

  1. Use case when the terminal is lagging, or not functioning properly (ie: not able to create invoices, etc)

Instruction Steps:

  1. Restart the terminal.
  2. Switch off the terminal.
  3. Open the back cover of the terminal, then remove the battery and put it back in again. Restart the terminal.
  4. After restarting, press for 2 seconds on the Pitstop app till the App info appears on top. Then click on it, look for “Storage & cache”, then click on it and “Clear Cache”.
  5. Let us know once you have done so, so that we can provide you with the QR to link your account.

2. Backup Plan 1:

  1. Download PITSTOP POS on Android at Google PlayStore.
  2. Let Pitstop know once done so that we can provide the QR.

3. Backup Plan 2: Use Portal

  1. Open portal.pitstop.my on either IOS or Android phone.
  2. Create PWA
  3. IOS:
  • Click on the 3 dot menu → Click on Share → Add to Home Screen → Turn off “Open as Web App”, then click Add
  1. Android:
  • Click on the 3 dot menu → Add to Home Screen → Click on Install

  • Log in to the portal → Click on the side bar menu → Under “Operations”, click on “Invoice” → Click on “Create Invoice” → Select Branch and click on “Create Invoice”
